The Lunar Eclipse on Thursday February 21 at 1.31pm AEST falls at 1 degree Virgo 53 minutes. This Lunar Eclipse, occurring at the Full Moon, where the Sun is opposite the Moon, involves the Virgo-Pisces axis. This polarity symbolizes the need to integrate body and soul, head and heart, matter and spirit, judgment and forgiveness, service and sacrifice.
Too much Virgo and the ability to organise, analyse, compartmentalise becomes the perfectionist where nothing, including themselves, is ever good enough.
Too much Pisces and the sensitivity and compassion becomes victimization or escapism.
Earthy Virgo needs to learn to go with the flow more and watery Pisces needs to embrace some practical routines and lay a few boundaries.
As all eclipses involve a blockage of light, that forces us to deal more deeply with subconscious and collective forces, with retrograde Saturn joining the Moon at this Eclipse and opposing the Sun, we can expect any fears and beliefs that are blocking our path to be intensified.
But Saturn also grounds us and forces us to face reality. He teaches us that rewards come when we face our responsibilities and if this means overcoming limitations and restrictions then the hard work will reap benefits.
