LEO

There are those who you meet this week who could be quite influential in helping you further your career plans. This adds to your sense of confidence but don’t go getting all arrogant or you may blow it.

Just when you and your partner thought you had it right it is back to the drawing board. Don’t fuss or stress it is important to get things workable and right so as a balanced outcome can be achieved.

Cooperation and sharing gets blown out the window when we have Venus the Goddess of Love in the maritial sign of Aries. Your impulsiveness has you indulging the senses and loving it.

You are finally going to have to take a stand and say enough is enough. Taking on other people’s responsibilities has not only bogged you down time wise but has also sapped your energy.

THE SUN IN LEO

Personality which has been fulfilled in its physical and natural aspect at the solstice and throughout Cancer, where we have begun to feel a responsibility to beloved and child, acquires in Leo a need to participate in some kind of social activity. Not as an adolescent but as an individual, independent personality having to determine own course of action and to be responsible for own failures.

New dimensions are born in Leo – the need to make an impression on others, society. In Aries we saw the human personality born, the pioneer forging a new path; in Taurus we saw the settler cultivating crops to survive; in Gemini we saw the salesperson forming networks of local communication; Cancer has the personality wanting a secure home or base in which to raise self and family. In the fifth sign of the natural zodiac we have Leo who is now no longer concerned with physical survival as such but is more concerned with creative efforts and wanting to make an impression.

Thus a cornerstone of the Leo personality is the need for social recognition. Just as the forthright or ‘aggressiveness’ of an Aries is the result of an unconscious personal insecurity, the dramatic and generous qualities of a Leo masks an unacknowledged sense of social insecurity.
