ACS State Awards for Excellence
The ACS Awards promote and recognise excellence in a range of areas that contribute to the quality of life of older people, people with disabilities and/or their carers. The Awards also acknowledge efforts to increase public confidence and community involvement in aged and community services.
SmartCare has grown from humble beginnings to a fleet of vehicles operated by staff with nursing qualifications. By filling the niche between an ambulance and a disabled taxi SmartCare has delivered an innovative and original service to the frail aged and wheelchair bound.
